      In every company, lot of meetings are conducted, some are small and some are more important. According to the multinational companies, every meeting have its own value in terms of the number of people participating in the meeting, the time they have contributed towards the meeting, their salary at that time and the output out of that then calculate everything and keep a record of it. Is the person in your company aware about the time required for the meeting that he is going to conduct and the expenditure required for the same? Because sometimes it happens that a good speaker in the meeting moves the aspect of the meeting which leads to unnecessary discussion, like discussion about their kids, etc. At the end of such meeting, output is zero. So I would like to ask you, ‘are you throwing out of the ATM of 5 to 10k companies by conducting such unsuccessful meeting?’
      I would like to give an example here, there was a two day work shop of a company’s 60 employees, the salary of every salesman was Rs.1000/- per day so the expenses they had incurred during those two days was Rs. 1,20,000/-. When I asked them about any output from such two days workshop, they said that they were not able to impart complete knowledge that they were supposed to give in that workshop as there were unnecessary discussions because of which they could not take the reporting properly. When I told them about the expenses that have been during these two days like, Rs.120000/-, trainer’s salary, rent of the training hall, refreshments, etc , then they said that they have never thought about these details about the expenses. So they thought that there has been wastage of money.
